Utah Trip - St George

Our visit to Utah this year was better that the others. I think that with each visit, we figure out what works, how to fit more and more in, and it all around becomes easier. There was much time spent fishing, hiking, miniature golfing, movie seeing, holiday celebrating and much more. I think for the sake of keeping it all straight in my head, I will just highlight different aspects of the trip in no particular order.

We went out for two weeks, and in the middle of the trip we went down to St. George to visit with Jorgen and Bry’s family. We caravaned down with Mike and Diane. After stopping to get our cars washed by some excellent football players (Brayden, Cole, and Conner) and grabbing a bit to eat we headed over to Bry and Jordanna’s house. There is nothing to describe seeing family that you haven’t seen in a long time, but as most people know that feeling, you will understand how good it was to see Bry, Jordanna and their girls. We got to meet Shasta, who is adorable, and Andrew and Parker were able to get reacquainted with Pyper and Zoee.

Then we headed to Jorgen and Jill’s house. Again, seeing family was so great. They took us down to the Virgin River and showed Andrew and Parker how to skim board. Andrew and Parker really look up to Jorgen’s boys, so they were in heaven having their attention while they were teaching them how to skim board. I had fun watching Dylan play in the water. It took him a bit to warm up, but after a while he loved it.

Before heading back to Orem the next morning, we stopped with the boys to let them hike around in the red rock and get wiggles out. We also stopped in Beaver for some squeaky cheese and ice cream cones.
